The deadline to petition for Assembly is Friday, September 12th at 11:59 PM. To start petitioning, click here.

Architecture: 1 seat
Education: 1 seat
Falk: 1 seat
iSchool: 1 Seat
VPA: 2 seats
Newhouse: 2 seats
College of Professional Studies: 1 seat
SUNY-ESF Representative: 1 seat
Please note, to run for an assembly seat, you must have a major in the school you are running for, except for First-Year seats. You also MUST attend at least one information session hosted by the Board of Elections on the following dates:
Thursday, August 28 at 7 PM in Hall of Languages 107
Tuesday, September 2 at 7 PM in Hall of Languages 107
Wednesday, September 10 at 7 PM in Hall of Languages 102
Finance Board Petitions
Additionally, Finance Board petitions are also available, with 12 seats available. The deadline to submit a petition is Monday, September 1st at 11:59 PM.The Finance Board budgets and allocates the Student Activity Fee to 300+ Registered Student Organizations on campus for events or programming purposes.

Applications to join the Cabinet for the Student Association for the next academic year (2025-2026) are CLOSED.

Assembly meetings are held every Monday night at 7:30 p.m. EST in Eggers 010. All students are welcome to attend and observe.
