Assembly
The Student Association Assembly is made up entirely of elected students to represent students. Assembly votes on bills, resolutions, and approves funding for on-campus activities. The Speaker is elected by their peers in the Assembly to lead the Assembly meetings. Among many responsibilities, the Speaker is expected to maintain Robert’s Rules of Order. The Speaker Pro-Tempore, essentially serving as the speaker’s deputy, serves as chair of the ROOF committee and works with chairs to coordinate the internal processes of the Assembly.
